In a bid to contribute its bit to the odd-even scheme in Delhi, city based automobile company, Lohia Auto is offering free e-rickshaw services to women and senior citizens at four metro stations. The company's intention is to bring down pollution levels during 15 days of Delhi's odd-even scheme by offering last mile connectivity to all females and elderly persons free of cost.

Women and senior citizens can avail these free services at Delhi's most crowded metro stations including Rithala, Rohini West, Rohini East and Pitampura. The company has said that it is receiving good response for its service and has claimed that over 2000 women and senior citizen have availed this free service. The primary motive behind this free service is to encourage all women to leave their four wheelers at home and contribute their share in bringing down pollution levels.

The service is available at North Delhi's most crowded metro stations including Rithala, Rohini East, Rohini West & Pitampura to provide last mile connectivity to women and girls absolutely free of cost.

"Lohia Auto is working towards better transportation that is transformational and sustainable. We are using leading edge innovation to provide last mile connectivity that is smooth, convenient; Lohia is connecting people to places in an eco-friendly manner. During these 15 odd-even days it is really a herculean task to reach quickly at metro station and board metro or after getting from bus and metro one need to look for an auto our other modes, then bargaining and you need to settle at whatever price they will ask. Keeping in mind the Monday as 1st working day of Odd-Even Scheme, the situation will be even worse, hence service like Lohia eRikshaw will be a great help for women," said Mr. Ayush Lohia, CEO at Lohia Auto Industries Ltd.
