SML Isuzu Ltd. started operations in India as Swaraj Vehicles Limited and was into manufacturing Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). Swaraj Vehicles Limited was subsequently renamed as Swaraj Mazda Limited and started commercial operations in 1986. The company was finally rechristened as SML Isuzu Limited in 2011. SML Isuzu has a strong presence in the commercial vehicles segment and has launched several popular buses and trucks in the Indian market. The company has a wide network of dealerships and service centers all over India.
